As a Personal Assistant (PA), your role is to enable a disabled gentleman and powerchair-user to be as independent as possible, supporting him with social, recreational and career activities, as well as personal care and domestic tasks. You will be working from Thursday 22:30 to Friday 08:00 and Sunday 08:00 to 18:00, with additional shifts available on a casual basis.

Support worker required to join a small team to support a young 46 year-old man living in his own home. This is a full-time, permanent post. The Rota pattern offers a good work-life balance.

He is a full-time manual wheelchair user; therefore, the personal assistant will be required to use a ceiling track hoist to carry out his personal care. He also has other medical needs, which can be discussed in more detail upon interest in the role.

As needed for a male adult with learning difficulties in the Liberton area of Edinburgh. Some of the duties the role requires of you are to assist him at home and out and about.

A personal assistant is required to assist 2 young people with Cerebral Palsy, to support with personal care and bedtime routine.
