We are looking for someone who can visit two to three times a week for up to maximum of 10 hours per week in the afternoon in order to assist our young daughter.

Our personal assistant (PA) is retiring after 13 years so we are looking for a male PA to provide companionship and support to a young man (32 years) who has a mild learning difficulty and is well known in his local community. We are looking for someone who will support him with his interests which include football and woodwork.  He just loves socialising including bowling, attending concerts and football matches.  The PA would be expected to join in activities when required and support him with his independence in everyday tasks. 

Rate of pay: £14.24 per hour Hours: 35 hours per week to be shared between two personal assistants.  Would consider one person doing all 35 hours. Job is based in Seafield, West Lothian.

This role is to assist and support a teenager with complex needs in the community with outings, fun activities, personal care and mobility. The successful candidates must be friendly, calm, approachable and reliable, active and fit enough to push a wheelchair and be confident in manual handling. Non smokers. We need these PA’S to be consistent, punctual and reliable for weekly outings.  Experience of complex needs care and support would be highly beneficial, we as parents will provide full training and key information.
