Current Personal Assistant Vacancies

Our personal assistant (PA) is retiring after 13 years so we are looking for a male PA to provide companionship and support to a young man (32 years) who has a mild learning difficulty and is well known in his local community. We are looking for someone who will support him with his interests which include football and woodwork.  He just loves socialising including bowling, attending concerts and football matches.  The PA would be expected to join in activities when required and support him with his independence in everyday tasks. 

I am looking for a small team of reliable and trustworthy 2-3 female Personal Assistants to support my mother at home. She lives with dementia, diabetes, and other health conditions, and needs help with personal care, meals, medication prompts, observation, and support with mobility, including wheelchair use.

Young Deaf person with learning difficulties looking for Communication Support workers to help at home and support him to have an active social life. 

The aim of the job is to provide the assistance required by the employer, a disabled man through a rugby injury. The position is permanent with paid holidays and pension contributions and with a potential for additional hours as part of holiday/sickness cover if those extra hours are suitable to the successful applicant. Extra permanent hours may also be negotiable.

Rate of pay: £14.24 per hour Hours: 35 hours per week to be shared between two personal assistants.  Would consider one person doing all 35 hours. Job is based in Seafield, West Lothian.

I am in a powered chair as I have MD. Best way to describe my muscular dystrophy is that I can’t use my arms or legs. So I simply need someone to be my arms and legs for me. The job is helping me run my family household and to help me be me, so every day is different. The post is for four hours per week and the shifts are as follows: Monday 1pm to 5pm.

Female personal assistant (PA) required to support a young person with profound learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy who uses a wheelchair full-time and lives in Longniddry.

This role is to assist and support a teenager with complex needs in the community with outings, fun activities, personal care and mobility. The successful candidates must be friendly, calm, approachable and reliable, active and fit enough to push a wheelchair and be confident in manual handling. Non smokers. We need these PA’S to be consistent, punctual and reliable for weekly outings.  Experience of complex needs care and support would be highly beneficial, we as parents will provide full training and key information. This post is for 2 PAs.

Female personal assistant required to support a young lady with mobility issues and her twelve year old son to live life to the full.  The job is based in Bonnyrigg but may involve tasks outwith the home such as support with shopping, collecting prescriptions and other day to day tasks when required.

I am looking for a friendly Personal Assistant to support a 16-year-old with Down syndrome and Autism over school breaks.  She is passionate about art, music and dancing and has a lovely, endearing little personality with a great sense of humour. This role is to support her in independence through a variety of tasks, such as socialisation and going out in the community.
