Female personal assistant required to support a young lady with mobility issues and her twelve year old son to live life to the full.  The job is based in Bonnyrigg but may involve tasks outwith the home such as support with shopping, collecting prescriptions and other day to day tasks when required.

We are looking for a caring and reliable personal assistant to visit two to three times a week for up to 6 hours per week in the afternoon after school to support our six-year-old son. Our son is smiley, happy, assertive, and has a good sense of humour. He loves being outside and watching things move in the wind and other sensory activities. He has physical and learning disabilities and requires constant supervision to keep him safe. He is non-verbal, so he needs someone to get to know him to be able to understand his communication techniques. He is a full-time manual wheelchair user; therefore, the personal assistant will be required to use a ceiling track hoist to carry out his personal care. He also has other medical needs, which can be discussed in more detail upon interest in the role.

Young Deaf person with learning difficulties looking for Communication Support workers to help at home and support him to have an active social life.  The 31 year old is cheerful, cooperative, hard working, polite and has a zeal for life. Although struggles to make friends due to language barriers.

Lachlan is looking for a creative communication partner. He is based in Midlothian, aged 33 and is non-verbal. He uses a yes/no system to communicate with his eyes and has been using eyegaze technology for the last 3 years.  He needs a creative communication partner to work alongside him to assist him to use his device fully. 

Looking for Personal Assistants to join an existing team to help Lachlan, a 31 year old young man with Cerebral Palsy.  The pay rate is £13.33 per hour. Family home is in a beautiful setting in the countryside near Gorebridge and Vogrie Country Park, but not on a bus route. Own transport is essential.
