Lothian Centre for Inclusive Living(LCiL) is a user controlled organisation which supports disabled people, people with long-term conditions and older people, to live independently in their communities.

Personal Assistants is required to help with mainly social care tasks and some aspects of independent living. I am looking for someone to take out a young male who needs to get used to socialising in public.
My interests include (Swimming, Tennis, Video games, Building Lego and marvel movies. Will need someone who is a car driver with valid license.
Hours: 3 hours per week at £9.30 per hour
Shifts: Will be flexible as agreed with employer.
Essential criteria: Flexibility is vital in this role as shifts could vary to meet employer’s needs. Must be reliable & trustworthy, conscientious, patient, friendly and easy-going, empathic, punctual, good communication skills and sense of humour, non-judgemental, flexible and energetic.

Personal Assistants required to assist disabled man with daily life.
Applicants must be reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
Duties include Bathing/dressing/personal daily routines and assisting with portability of client/use of a hoist/other equipment etc. Previous experience would be an advantage.

We are looking for locally based, self-employed Personal Assistants (PA) to join our team of PA’s across Edinburgh and the three Lothians. Our PA’s are available on an ad-hoc basis, who support people at our workshops and peer support groups.
The role can include:
We welcome applications from people who are reliable and attentive, non-judgemental and can work discreetly. Good communication skills are essential. Experience is not essential as training can be provided.
Hours required are generally during the daytime eg. 10am until 2.30pm and PA’s are paid an hourly rate of £9.75.

Bank Staff Positions – To cover holidays and sickness when required.
A fun-loving, young, out-going disabled man is looking to add Personal Assistants in a bank capacity to provide holiday cover/sickness cover for existing personal assistants as and when required, that help him with all aspects of daily living.
Employer’s interests include watching sport (Football and Formula One Racing), going out to the cinema, music gigs and other shows (comedians etc). He also enjoys socialising and shopping and regularly volunteers with a charity.
PA must have a valid clean driving license.
Working Hours/Shifts: Ad-hoc Hours. Monday – Sunday to cover holiday and sickness cover. While also suiting employers needs and requirements. The rate of pay is £9.50 per hour.
Shifts: 11.30am to 2pm and 5pm to 7.30pm basic. Employer has additional hours available, which can be added to basic hours to suit employer’s social needs. There may be some flexibility if needed.
Essential criteria: Flexibility is vital in this role as shifts could vary to meet employers needs and requirements. Must be comfortable with animals as employer has pet dog, reliable & trustworthy, conscientious, patient, friendly and easy-going, empathic, punctual, good communication skills and sense of humour, non-judgemental, flexible and energetic.
The job involves moving and handling and use of hoist, preferably candidate should have experience, however, training will be provided.
