We are looking for someone reliable to pick our son (10 yr old boy) up from school and look after him at home. School pick up is in Liberton at 3.30/3.40 pm and home is in Balerno.
Our son is autistic and has learning disabilities. He needs routine and structure. Ideally once home you would do an educational activity with him or an activity to work on his coordination/fine motor skills. He is very active and likes to go out and about e.g. walks, playground.ur application. We are looking form someone who can be firm but kind – you need to be in charge not him!
The post would be for 6-10 hours a week (possibly more hours in the hols if desired), with pick ups at least 2 – 3 days a week and more if desired. Days of the week flexible. £12 – 15 per hour depending on experience.
