Important information for new and existing Access to Work claimants below:
New claimants:
There is now a new telephone number for you call if you wish to apply for Access to Work support. The number is 0345 268 8489. The new process now is that at this stage the AtW worker will take your contact details and tell you that an assigned case worker will call back within 10 working days regarding your application. If you require a support worker or an advocacy worker to speak for you or to help you with the telephone call, you can request that AtW call them back instead.
Existing claimants:
For anyone who is already claiming AtW support, there is a new address that you must send your claims to instead of in Glasgow. The address is: Anniesland Jobcentre, Mail Handling Site A, Wolverhampton WV98 1DB.
An important point to remember in the future is to make sure that you fill in the forms correctly or they will be returned to you without payment.
