Campaign for access to transport for people with learning disabilities
ENABLE Scotland is championing the right for people with learning disabilities to have accessible bus travel.
The concessionary travel scheme provides more than financial support; the scheme facilitates the accessibility of bus travel and the independence of people with learning disabilities. For many people with learning disabilities, it is a lifeline – a bus pass to independent living.
Many people with learning disabilities are struggling to access the national concessionary travel scheme.
ENABLE Scotland membershave stated that entitlement to a bus pass is a key priority for them and they would like you to help them in getting the Scottish Government and Transport Scotland to hear their concerns.
