Independent review of hate crime legislation in Scotland

Published: October 23, 2017

An independent review of hate crime legislation is being conducted by Lord Bracadale.  The review is considering whether changes need to be made to the current hate crime laws; whether existing offences should be extended to cover other groups; and whether all hate crimes should be brought into one area of legislation.

Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) would like you to complete a survey, which should take around 10 minutes to complete, and will be open for responses until Thursday 16th November 2017.  The hate crime survey can be completed by clicking on the link: Hate Crime Survey
