I’m a 58 year old female living in Joppa area and I’m wheelchair bound due to multiple sclerosis. I am in need of female (*GOR) Personal Carers (2) to assist me daily getting up and preparing for the day ahead.
Your Role
Manual Handling with the aid of a Stand Aid with all transfers.
Get up transfer duties from bed to shower.
Assist with toilet needs & transfers to/ from toilet.
Washing, drying & dressing assistance.
Food prep for breakfasts & lunches
Light cleaning, housework & ironing duties.
Requirements
Trained Care Assistants preferred but not essential.
Available to work every second weekend & weekday hours. Up to 12 & 9 hours per week**available.
Split shift working availability essential.
You will be available for an in person discussion. No payment is made for this meeting.
Important Info
Rate of Pay is £13.65 per hour regardless of day of week or times worked.
Paid monthly in arrears.
Holidays paid pro rata (depending on how many hours you work weekly)
Further Information
Successful applicants will be subject to a PVG check.
Will be fully insured in the workplace.
Training may be arranged for suitable candidates.

** shifts for 12 hrs p/w Wed – Fri incl. 8 – 10 am, 1.30 – 2 & 5.30 – 6 pm, Sat 8 – 9 am & 5.30 – 6 pm. Sun 9 – 10 am & 5.30 – 6 pm.
Shifts for 9 hours per week is Sat & Sun as above & Mon & Tues as above.
