I am a friendly, energetic 50 year old lady with epilepsy and I would like someone to accompany me on trips shopping, coffee outings, and to things like the cinema or appointments.
I require extra help crossing roads and keeping myself safe around strangers as sometimes I can wander off and talk to strangers, as such I require supervision.
I’m looking for someone who is friendly and approachable, while kindness, reliability, a positive, flexible attitude and clear communication are also key qualities for this role. A good sense of humour and a caring attitude will also help you connect and make a real difference to my life.
Duties and responsibilities
- Taking me out where I want to go, generally shopping or the cinema, as well as to various appointments when needed
- Keeping me safe and staying close to me
- Helping me stay active and engaged
Hours
- 12 hours per week are available, 6 on Thursday, 6 on Friday. Approximately 11am-5pm but can be discussed. Both days could be done by 1 candidate, or split between 2
- £13.45 per hour

Successful candidates will be required to have PVG membership or be willing to join the scheme.
