This workshop session will introduce you to the world of self-directed support (SDS), taking you through the different SDS options. You will learn how to access an assessment for SDS and learn what your rights are surrounding the topic. You will also be able to hear from one of our LCiL Champions about their own lived experience.

You will learn:

  • What Self-Directed Support (SDS) is
  • What the 4 options for support are
  • How to access an SDS assessment
  • What your rights are

Who is it for?

Disabled people and people with long-term health conditions across Edinburgh, Midlothian, East and West Lothian.

Location

The Introduction to Self-Directed Support Workshop takes place on Zoom.
