It is the season of goodwill. I do hope that everyone reading this message finds some joy, peace, and reasons to celebrate.
2022 has been a difficult one for many with the ongoing impact of COVID-19 as well as a new international crisis with the war in Ukraine. Locally in the UK, the cost of living has continued to spiral upwards putting pressure on us all in one way or another.
Life is very precious and everyone needs a helping hand now and then. It is important to not lose sight of the fact that support is always available.
I always think this time of year is a time of reflection; what was good and what was not so good, what we liked and disliked, what we made happen and what happened to us, what we learned and what we would change.
I always come back to the words “Where there is life, there is hope”.
I do hope you all find many reasons to be cheerful and blessed with the simple things in life; we all need food on the table, a roof over our heads and people in our lives who care about us.
Thinking of you at what can be the most wonderful time of the year and I hope we all find joy in our hearts.
With the warmest wishes for a happy and peaceful Christmas season from everyone at the Lothian Centre for Inclusive Living,
