Many places in Edinburgh will be taking part including city centre museums and art galleries as well as tourist attractions. Lothian Buses will also be stationing one of the company’s latest vehicles with new access features and offer advice and assistance to anyone looking to travel by bus. The bus will be located at the West Gate of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and will be there from 10am until 4pm.
The Traverse Theatre will be hosting free accessible backstage tours from 11am to 2pm. Backstage tours will offer a sneak peek behind the scenes giving you the opportunity to learn about the history of Scotland’s new writing theatre, play with props and hear about current productions, all whilst finding out more about the Traverse Theatre’s year-round audience experience for those with access requirements.
Date & Times: Sat 12 Mar, tours will take place between 11am and 2pm, and will last for approximately 45 mins
