Number of hours per week: around 12 hours spread over five days Monday to Friday and worked flexibly as arranged with employer.
Rate of Pay: living wage – £12.80 per hr
I am physically challenged in my daily life, so I am looking for a Personal care Assistant to support me. You should be friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour, you must be reliable, trustworthy, punctual and a non-smoker.
My Personal care Assistant will be required to work one to one with me, so it is important that you are aware of and sensitive to my needs, it is important that you can be discreet but maintain an open and honest relationship with me.
It is expected you will have Experience as a personal care assistant or carer so as to help give me the right assistance to lead my life independently the way I choose, It is therefore vital that my Personal care Assistant has good communication and listening skills.
If you’re a compassionate, positive person having a proven track record of caring for the disabled, this will make you a strong candidate for this job.
My personal care assistant should be able to assist with a variety of tasks. Like most people, my day varies so it is difficult to list every task that is expected of a Personal Assistant but includes assistance with the following:

- Shopping, Preparing and cooking food
- General cleaning tidying and laundry

- Well organised and reliable with paper work and admin
Social Tasks
- Good communication and people skills
- Assistance when going out for a walk
- Shopping for pleasure
- Positive and compassionate attitude
- Well organised and reliable
Desirable
- Current driving licence
- Any other reasonable task within my assessed need
