Rate of pay £18.71 per hour, £110.88 for a sleepover (9 hours).

 

The post is 48 hours per month.  Shifts are 24 hours including sleepover. A minimum of 1 x Friday and 1 x Saturday shift available per month, plus paid time to attend team meetings and supervision by arrangement.

 

Support a young person to live their life to the fullest through developing their independence, promoting their health & wellbeing, and engaging in a variety of activities within their home & community.

Work within a committed and creative team that will provide you with comprehensive training and ongoing support within the role, including a focus on your professional development.

The role will be mostly 1:1 support work, where you will be required to plan and organise activities for you and the young person throughout the day.

The employer for this position is the guardian of an autistic young man who lives in his own home, with a team of staff providing 24/7 support. The young man is looking for someone confident and relaxed with a good sense of humour who shares his interests in computer games, walking, eating out and trying new things. His family require someone who is reliable and committed, with a genuine interest in helping their son live a great life.

You will have the opportunity to enrol in a pension scheme with contributions from the employer. You will also receive an annual leave entitlement based on the number of hours in your contract.

A PVG check will be carried out on successful candidates and there will be a 3-month probation period.
