Rate of pay £15 per hour.
Personal Assistant/Buddy required to accompany a young man with learning disabilities to engage with sport, cultural and music activities.
Sports include golf, cycling and rock climbing. Interest in music required. No personal care required.
The young man needs a buddy to integrate into mainstream activities and support him to make friends. Should be a member of the protection of vulnerable groups (PVG) scheme.
You will be contracted on an ad hoc, self-employed basis. Support to be carried out mainly at weekends or during school holidays. Depending on need, a shift could last up to eight hours (although could be shorter) and some weeks no need for support.
