I have an impressive selection of ailments which naturally means my health can vary hourly.
This does not mean that I want to be stuck at home.
Your job would be to help, support and motivate me to manage the hurdles that life puts in my way.
I am looking for several Personal Assistants who would support me at home, to attend appointments and with social and leisure activities. I am visually impaired and so it is essential that you follow instruction accurately. This is a permanent post.
- I require support with paperwork and communication due to my visual impairment
- It is essential that you are comfortable with supporting me to take medication properly
- Driver helpful, use of own car an advantage
- Must have flexible availability
- Previous experience of disability desirable
- Good communication skills and sense of humour essential.
- Computer literate and good command of written English
- You will need good general health to help with my mobility at times.
- PVG scheme membership or willingness to join the scheme.
Rate of pay is £15.72 per hour.
I am looking for one or two Personal Assistants to fill 16 hours per week, at flexible times to be arranged. Visits will generally be for a minimum of 2 hours.
I am also looking for a temporary Personal Assistant to do maternity cover of ten hours per week.
Possible further hours available to cover staff sickness and holidays, these will be agreed with advance notice.
