I am in a powered chair as I have MD. Best way to describe my muscular dystrophy is that I can’t use my arms or legs. So I simply need someone to be my arms and legs for me. The job is helping me run my family household and to help me be me, so every day is different.
Rate of pay £13.35 per hour.
There are 23 hours per week available and the shifts are as follows:
Monday 1pm to 7pm.
Tuesday 3pm to 10pm.
Wednesday 5pm to 10pm.
Friday 5pm to 10pm.
I am looking for two personal assistants to share the above shifts. Applications from people looking to do 15 hours or less welcome. Please state in your application which shifts you wish to do.
There could also be holiday cover for other PA shifts, if needed.
The rate of pay: £13.35 per hour. Paid annual leave and a pension scheme available.
About you:
It would be preferred but not essential, that you hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own car.
You must be a member of, or be prepared to join, the PVG scheme. Female applicants only please, this is a genuine occupational requirement.
