The post
Your role will be to assist me in my home life and other activities. This will include all personal care and a range of domestic and social tasks. You will also be required also be required to take me to and from my work on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday as required.
About me
I am an experienced PA employer and have been employing my own staff for twelve years. I have cerebral palsy, which affects the use of my limbs. I can walk short distances with the aid of my stick and assistance from a PA. However, I generally use a power chair when out and about for mobility purposes.
Personal qualities
I am looking for someone who is reliable and enthusiastic. Somebody open-minded with a sense of humor You will be required to drive my Motability vehicle ,you must be over 25 to do this. UK driver’s licence is therefore required
Hours and rate of pay
The post is for 15-20 hours per week,(more hours will be available . You will be working Mon-Fri Shifts will be either AM More hours also available to cover holidays and illness.
Shifts will be 3 or 4 hours per day either AM depending on my needs that day.
Flexibility will be required.
The rate of pay is either £12.87 or £16 per hour depending on whether you hold a UK driving licence.
The post will be offered based on the completion of paid trial shift(s), this will be confirmed at interview.
