Part- time personal assistant required for young person living with Autism and ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder)

Work Pattern: Part time (6 hours per week)
Rate of pay: £14.24 per hour

I am seeking a part time personal assistant to help me live my life the way I choose whilst at the same time giving me guidance and support to make safe decisions. I have supportive parents however having personal assistant support will allow me to lead my life more independently. I live in a flat with my boyfriend and 2 cats.
I am a young person living with Autism, ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) anxiety and depression.
I am looking for a personal assistant who will spend time getting to know me. Sometimes I find it hard to communicate what I need and therefore it is vital that a personal assistant has good communication and listening skills.
I am seeking a personal assistant who can support me make good choices with eating and drinking. This will include assistance with food shopping, preparing and cooking a meal. I also need support to upkeep my home.
I would like support with administration tasks such as, budgeting and money skills, paying bills and ordering prescriptions.
I enjoy going to college, the cinema and theatre both with or without friends. I like shopping for pleasure too. I would like support to help me manage my diary, plan travel, make phone calls/write letters and help my interaction with others.
I am looking for a personal assistant who is friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour. You must be reliable, trustworthy and punctual. A knowledge of autism, eating disorders and mental health is useful. It is important that you are aware of and sensitive to my needs.
