Welcome and Opening Remarks \n2. Introductions to LCiL Trustees – Meet our current Board of Trustees \n3. LCiL 2025 Highlights & Looking Ahead – A summary of LCiL’s key activities\, achievements\, and impact in 2025\, followed by a forward-looking overview of strategic priorities and plans. \n4. Vote of Thanks and Closing Remarks\n \n\nKeynote Speaker \nWe are delighted and honoured to welcome Anne-Marie Monaghan as our keynote speaker. \nAnne-Marie will explore the current socio-political and financial environment\, highlighting key policies and developments affecting the sector and DPOs. Her address will be followed by an interactive Q&A session\, offering attendees the opportunity to engage and reflect. \nAnne-Marie Monaghan is an experienced board member and is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees for Independent Living Fund Scotland (ILF). She also sits on the board of Self-Directed Support Scotland and is a member of the National Care Service Advisory Board. \nAnne-Marie is a former Non-Executive Director of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Board\, former Chair of East Renfrewshire Integration Joint Board\, and former member of Glasgow Integration Joint Board. \nWith over 45 years’ experience in community work and social work\, Anne-Marie has held senior positions across the third sector and local authorities\, working in operations\, commissioning\, and as a Head of Service. She led the first Scottish Government Self-Directed Support Test Site and has been involved in SDS from its inception. She continues to lead on the development of brokerage across Scotland and is Centre Head for the SDSS SQA Centre\, through which the Community Brokerage Award is delivered. \nAnne-Marie lives with a disability and uses an individual budget for her support. In her spare time\, she enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren\, walking her dogs\, and painting.
