Job Details:

 

  • Hours: Up to 36 hours per week (flexible schedules available)
  • Competitive Pay: £12 per hour
  • Location: Beautiful central Edinburgh home near Inverleith Park and the Botanic Gardens

 

About the Role:

You’ll be supporting Steven, a former chartered accountant with a rich life experience, who was diagnosed with secondary progressive MS. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life while working in a pleasant environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with daily activities such as cleaning, shopping, and cooking
  • Help with wheelchair mobility and exercise routines
  • Provide companionship and engage in stimulating conversations
  • Light administrative tasks

 

The Ideal Candidate:

 

  • Positive mindset and good nature
  • Calm and practical approach to caregiving
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Willingness to learn (full training provided)
