Intensive support and well being programme
Do you want to make a real difference to someone’s life? Do you have skills and experience that can be used to support me with my intensive health and well-being programme? This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, develop your practice in a Person-Centred way and build on your current skill and knowledge base.
I use a wheelchair and the programme will include supporting me with personal care, to develop positive sleep and nutrition routines and improve my mental well-being. You will need to be a good communicator, compassionate and patient. Experience in care work is not essential; I am seeking people willing to work creatively with me. You need to be open to learning as well as taking instructions and using your own initiative.
In recognition of the particular skills needed and the relatively short term nature of this contract the hourly rate is £19 plus seven days paid holiday.
The hours are 16hrs/wk across four days with a four week rota to include two weekend days a month and two early starts (7am) a week (to be negotiated).
This role might appeal to newly qualified Allied Health Professional, Social Worker or Therapist looking for an opportunity to build on training and skills and experience of working in partnership with a person requiring support.
Interested? Intrigued? Are you ready for a new and unique role in the area of social care?
