Personal Assistant is required to help with all aspects of personal care, domestic and social tasks to help with independent living. More specific information will be provided on interview. This would include supporting the young person in and around college to carry out personal care tasks as required. The young person will also require help and support within the home with personal care/pampering and building on independent living tasks such as going to the shops, making food etc.
My interests include socialising, long walk, retail therapy and being crafty.
Having a valid driving licence is a bonus but not essential. As client has there on adapted car which would allow for more independent life with the personal assistant.
Hours: approx. 25-30hrs per week paid at £9.50 per hour.
Shifts: as required (awaiting confirmation of days/times for college) remainder hrs can be negotiated.

I am looking for a Personal Assistant who is friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour. They must be reliable, trustworthy and punctual. It is important that an employee is aware of and sensitive to my needs. As a Personal Assistant is required to work one-to one, it is important that the employer and employee maintain an open and honest relationship.
Note: The post is subject to successful PVG Scheme check and if you are not member you will be asked to join before formal offer could be made.
