Female Personal Assistant required to provide support and assistance to a bright and sparky, 14 year old, autistic teenage girl.
Living in The Grange, Edinburgh, we require support to help our daughter access social settings eg, the cinema, social clubs and friendship groups. Our daughter is keen to be independent but has social communication challenges and anxiety. We require assistance to support her to leave the home and accompany her to a variety of social settings, along with some support in the home to help her complete certain tasks.
She is passionate about film, cinema and reading and enjoys spending time with her friends. We are looking for support on:
Friday afternoon (1-5), and on Tuesday and Wednesday (3.45 – 5.45).
Person specification:
- Applicants must be cheerful, reliable, and flexible
- Patient and supportive
- Non-smoker
- Evidence of supporting a young person is desirable
Rate of pay: £9.98 per hour.
Please note this job is strictly PAYE, not cash in hand.
