Admin PA Position
We are looking to recruit an administrator to join our PA team supporting a vibrant and creative young disabled woman, living in Oxgangs, Edinburgh.
The Role:
We are looking for someone with good computing and organisational skills to help to manage administrative tasks for Rachel and her team. Structure and planning are integral to Rachel’s success, so your job will help to maintain order by ensuring that everything runs smoothly with her admin.
Such tasks will include:
– Rachel’s personal admin
– Admin for the team
– Filling out time sheets and rotas
– Sending out individual monthly payslips and accrued annual leave
– Organising annual leave
– Attending and taking notes at staff meetings
– Helping Rach to manage her care team
– Organising staff training
– Updating care plans
– Writing job adverts
– Filling in forms and applications
– Managing the team and last minute cover
– Liaising with agencies, social work etc
– Syncing Rachel’s diary with the calendar on the wall
– Managing repeat food orders
– Opening mail
– Filing documents and reorganising them
– Assistance organising grievance/ disciplinary meetings (and take notes)
Requirements:
– Sound computing skills
– Well organised and thorough
– A solid understanding of spreadsheets
– An ability to write formally, when appropriate
– Effective communication
– Excellent listening skills
– Compassion
– Reliability
– Friendly
(Advantageous, but not essential):
– Previous experience working in Admin
– Previous experience working in the care sector
– An IT related qualification
Pay Rate
£13.00
Hours
3 x 2 hours per week minimum
