two part time posts based in Inverleith, Edinburgh.
Post 1:
Supporting a middle aged disabled lady with her children on a Friday. It would involve collecting her with her walker from Inverleith at 5pm and driving to Tranent, East Lothian for 6pm and collecting her children. Driving back to her flat in Edinburgh. Cooking food which she will purchase whilst she spends time with her children (5&9.) Helping with the children’s bed time routine. And finishing at 10pm when the children should both be fast asleep. She has several walkers but prefers to take an arm when appropriate. So saying that she prefers to do the handover in Tranent on her own.
The rate of pay is £11.29 per hour. The lady would pay mileage as well.
References are essential. As well as a valid PVG, have a valid driving license and to own a car which they are happy to use at work.
She would like applicants to meet her and the children first. An easy going applicant is a must.
Post 2:
To support a middle aged disabled lady. This would be just for her. This would be on a Wednesday and Thursday from 11.30 till 5pm. Tasks would involve encouraging her to go to groups and swimming. Going to the cinema, eating nutritious meals and helping with light IT issues and topical admin.
She has several walkers but would prefer to take an arm.
References are essential. As well as a valid PVG.
It is essential that applicants are laid back with a sense of humour.
The rate of pay will be £11.29. She enjoys taking the bus when transport is required.
Both roles immediate start, so apply as soon as possible.
