Eilidh is a young woman in her 20s, she is autistic and has a learning disability. She enjoys the gym, swimming, trips to the theatre and getting outdoors. Once you establish a bond with Eilidh, her world becomes full of possibilities for growth and development. If she is interested, there is potential for you to introduce your own interests and hobbies to Eilidh.
Like everyone else, Eilidh has both good and bad days. She has some complexities that can make her life difficult, but a compassionate, empathetic person can turn the whole day around.
Eilidh’s team is small but filled with passionate individuals. Her family is deeply integrated within her support, and thus the support worker will need to be able to work on their own initiative whilst at the same time being respectful of Eilidh’s and her parents’ wishes. Everyone counts within Eilidh’s team, and each person is committed to enriching her life to the fullest.
