Seeking a young person’s support worker, with experience of working with neurodiversity and learning disability. Looking for a professional person to assist me with taking part in social activities at the weekend. This might include going climbing or paddleboarding, the occasional short break with other young people and their support workers or just shopping. Ideally someone who is quite active would be good and who is able to assist with personal care, and who has good ideas for fun things to do.
The Post Personal Assistant to Young Adult with Learning Disability. Due to the personal care element this is a female only position.
The rate of pay is £12 – £18 p/h – depending on experience.
Part-time – 12 hours per week – 1030-1630pm weekends.
Extra hours may be available and would also be paid additional for short breaks away, to be negotiated/agreed if flexibility from worker.
