Female (*GOR) Personal assistant required in Bilston to support a young child with multiple complex needs. The purpose of the job is to support the child to give respite to the family and includes personal care tasks and helping the girl to go out/play.
The postholder must be patient with the ability to learn how to communicate effectively with the young person.
Experience in caring for disabled children would be useful, in particular use of a hoist and other aids. It is essential that the postholder is a member of the protection of vulnerable groups (PVG) scheme or willing to join.
The post is six hours per week, likely two three hours shifts but not set in stone.
Rate of pay is £12.45 per hour.
