Rate of pay £15.50 per hour.
Elderly gentleman living with Parkinson’s in Gullane looking for several personal assistants. Duties will involve supporting the employer with personal care tasks, including keeping him safe, help with medication, help with mobility, assistance with gentle exercises set out by physio and speech therapist, supporting employer with his online diary and appointments, attending appointments with employer.
Advantageous but not essential that postholder have full driving licence Valid in UK. Useful to have some experience of care but not essential. What is essential is having willingness to learn. Must also be honest, reliable, have integrity, be able to work one to one with employer and also work as part of a team.
The postholder will join a small staff team. The shifts are every day:
0800 to 2200 and 2200 to 0800.
