This is a raising awareness day on dementia open to all with an interest.
Based around City & Guilds accredited CARE Dementia training this event will explain about the:
- Causes, symptoms and different types of dementia
- Importance of diagnosis, medication, diet and lifestyle
- Different ways to manage behaviours and encourage engagement
