Tribute to Pioneer of Independent Living Movement

David Morris Obituary  - The disability activist David Morris, who has died aged 51 after a brief chest infection, was a pioneer in the independent living movement. Dave, a wheelchair user, described himself as needing "personal assistance in most areas of my physical life ... I need someone to get me dressed, washed, out of bed and into bed; someone to help me pee, wipe my bum, drive my car, assist with the housework ..."
