Assisted suicide guidelines: family can still face prosecution  England - Top prosecutor removes exemption for family members from guidelines that give six mitigating factors against prosecution. Family members who help a loved one die in "mercy killings" could still face criminal charges in new guidelines on assisted suicide set out by the director of public prosecutions today.
