Independent Living
The Independent Living Service provides both training and one to one support to assist individual disabled people to set up and maintain flexible Independent Living Schemes.
The team supports disabled people to:-
- identify their needs
- access Direct Payments, the Independent Living Fund and other sources of funding
- recruit and manage their own staff
