‘Summit 2015 – Getting our Rights right’
Disabled people and their supporters joined together in Edinburgh on the 3rd of December 2015 for Scotland’s first Annual Summit for Disabled People, coinciding with the International Day of Disabled People.
Progressing disabled people rights to equality and independent living was the focus for the day, with the Scottish Government’s draft Delivery Plan on the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) placed firmly on the agenda.
